Right from the World’s first general purpose computing device called the ENIAC, computers have become an integral part of our daily lives. Today the applications of computers range from individual and personal entertainment to large scale manufacturing and even automated life care methodologies. Computers have in several senses replaced the need for a human monitoring and control in different and varied life scenarios. They offer more precise decisions and more accurate predictions of actions that humans believe is almost impossible. Today we just cannot imagine the world without computers. Forms of computing have evolved considerably from large and heavy devices that occupy nearly 2 or 3 floors of a building to devices that can be held on our palm.
Today the major avatar of personal computers that is preferred by majority of users globally is none other than portable computers which are more affectionately known by the name of Laptops or Notebooks.
Today laptops are used by everyone in the social ladder from school children to company CEO’s. Their popularity has shot up in the recent years as the price of Notebooks began to drop significantly and now it is a time when we can actually think of buying a Laptop instead of a desktop for the same amount whereas almost 5 years ago such a thought would have never even creeped into our wildest dreams because of the erstwhile huge pricing gap present then.
The top most brands in computing today are from different nations. The key players having presence in almost every major nation in the world include names like HP, Dell, Apple, Toshiba, Lenovo, Acer, Asus and many more to name a few. These brands have the most preference over others because of industry defining standards of perfection and commitment these companies offer along with their computer models and even accessories.
Today we know that a computer alone cannot be considered to be a complete package even if it is a laptop as the need for accessories have fuelled a new revolutionary battle among computer hardware manufacturers in bringing out the most effective hardware accessories along with the computer models that will complement the system in a nice way as expected by buyers who are willing to shell out whatever it takes to catch hold of the best. Various accessories include portable hardisks, speakers, USB storage devices or pen drives, webcam, mic, spare keyboards, joysticks, dedicated graphics hardware and many more.
The next phase of evolution from the era of laptops is of course Netbooks and Tablet PC’s which are today ruling the sales charts across the globe. They are smaller and lighter and hence more convenient than laptops to carry along with you wherever you go. They can offer almost all basic functionalities that a laptop can offer except for more speed and graphics support.
So as time passes on a fast pace we are sure to be treated to a feast when the next generation of computers began to hit stores and we cannot even guess what it is going to be like.

Pet Trusts
Leaving money to take care of pets is usually the stuff of Hollywood stories; however, it is a real issue for pet lovers. Leona Helmsley left her beloved pet twelve million dollars. Prior to the adoption of pet trust statutes bequests by pet owners to the pet in a will or trust would be the source of litigation because pets are considered chattel property and legally could not be a beneficiary of a trust. It is easier to do today because 44 of the 50 states have enacted pet trust legislation that allows a person to provide for the care of their pet if the pet outlives them. Most of these statutes are based on the Uniform Trust Code and have the following features.
The trust may be created to care for an animal during the settlors lifetime. It terminates on the death of the animal or if there was more than one animal on the death of the last surviving animal.
The trust may be enforced by a person named by the settlor or if none was appointed by a person appointed by the court.
Property of the trust can only be used for the purposes intended by the trust except to the extent the court determines the value of the trust is more than what is needed to care for the pet.
The only states that do not have pet trust legislation are Kentucky, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Mississippi, and West Virginia. Many persons who set up pet trusts stipulate that after the death of the pet remaining proceeds should go to an organization concerned about the welfare of animals such as the humane society.

One way Outback is doing, it is to not only revamp its menu with more low-dollar menu items, but through coupon sales. Of course, one has to wonder if that is price effective.

In essence, the way Outback Restaurants determine the cost of coupons versus the cost of advertising is to look at their front doors; if customers still open them regularly, they consider the cost of advertising a good cost. Although the cash registers track coupon sales, it is simply not a statistic that is looked at close enough. It is definitely not one of the most accurate ways of doing so, but that is because coupons are ingrained as the way to do business, so they simply make sure that they have coupons going. They appear to drive people to the door, so they are used; advertising works, so it is used. Although more accurate reporting would make for a more efficiently run restaurant, and would be able to determine a more specific expenditure, this is something that is unlikely to change soon. Until it is, enjoy the same food at a cheaper price.

Brian Douglas Wilson is an American musician, best known as the leader and chief songwriter of the group The Beach Boys. Within the band, Wilson played bass and keyboards, also providing part-time lead vocals and, more often, backing vocals, harmonizing in falsetto with the group.
Besides being the primary composer in The Beach Boys, he also functioned as the band's main producer and arranger. Wilson's life was derailed by years of drug abuse and mental illness, contributing to tensions with the band. After years of treatment and recuperation, he began a solo career in 1988.
That same year, Wilson and his bandmates were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, which refers to Wilson on its website as "One of the few undisputed geniuses in popular music". In 2008, Rolling Stone magazine published a list of the "100 Greatest Singers of All Time", and ranked Wilson number 52.
Wilson won a Grammy Award in 2005 for "Mrs. O'Leary's Cow (Fire)" as Best Rock Instrumental. He is also an occasional actor and voice actor, having appeared in television shows, films, and other music artist music videos.
In February 2005, Wilson had a cameo in the TV series Duck Dodgers in the 24 Century as Daffy Duck's spiritual surfing advisor.He also appeared in the 2005 holiday episode of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, performing "Deck the Halls" for a group of children with xeroderma pigmentosum (hypersensitivity to sunlight) at Walt Disney World Resort. On July 2, 2005, Wilson performed for the Live 8 concert in Berlin, Germany.

In summer 2009, Wilson was approached by the Gershwin estate to record an album of covers of classic Gershwin songs, and to complete two piano pieces left unfinished by Gershwin at his death. The album, Brian Wilson Reimagines Gershwin, was released on August 17, 2010 on Disney's Pearl label.
